Learn about your rights and responsibilities in everyday legal situations in partnership with Virginia Legal Aid. This series will focus on:

March 12: Housing Rights
April 9: Debt Collection

Virginia Legal Aid Society is dedicated to providing free legal assistance to individuals in need. Whether you're facing legal challenges or seeking guidance, VLA is here to support individuals through every step.

During the winter months, please check the website before heading out to a library program. We will post if the library is closed due to the weather. 

The Miller Center is at 301 Grove Street, across from Miller Park. The entrance is at the white trellis walkway.

  • From Grove Street. Look for the old school building. There is a driveway on the side of the Miller Center that takes you to the back parking lot. Miller Center has stairs, elevator access, and handicapped parking. 
  • From Memorial Library. Go to the light at McDonald's. Turn down Wadsworth Street past Park View Mission. After a four way stop, look for the Miller Center on the left.
