LYH Water Department Enviroscape Program

Our own LYH Water Department will share some fun facts about our water. The program will be a hands-on demonstration that teaches participants how watersheds work and how pollution affects water quality. Using a 3D tabletop model of a community, participants will see how rain carries pollutants like litter, fertilizer, and oil into rivers, lakes, and groundwater. We will also play some fun games about how we use water in Lynchburg.

This activity is tailored to serve adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
