Lynchburg Water Resources will be bringing their fun and educational Water Wagon to the Library this summer! Kids will learn about the City's environment and water resources through an interactive program.

Summer Lunch (provided by Lynchburg City Schools) is returning to the Library! A free lunch for kids ages 18 and younger will be served on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM.

Calling all crafty creators! Kids of all ages (and their parents/caregivers) are welcome to drop by the Youth Services Activity Room for our Family Craft Day programs!

Are you looking for a fun, FREE summer STEAM activity for your rising 6th-8th grader(s)?

Chess for Kids is back! Children ages 6 to 12 can join in from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. on select Saturdays this summer.

This drop-in program is best for kids ages 6-8!

Come join us to watch a classic movie. Golden Age Matinee features a classic from the past. 

This month's classic is "Charade" with legendary stars Audrey Hepburn and Cary Grant.

Join us at the Downtown Branch for Storytime at 10:30 a.m. every Tuesday starting in May! Storytime will feature stories, songs, rhymes, crafts, and more. We hope to see you there!

Join LPL every Tuesday night for a game of chess!

All levels are welcome and boards can be borrowed from the Adult Services desk. Players meet in the Adult side of the library in front of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Room.

Bring your imagination to Builders Club at the Downtown Branch every Wednesday! This program will provide LEGO®, Duplos, and more! Complete the challenge or free build whatever you like.

The Lynchburg Fire Department will be joining us at the Library this summer! Kids can enjoy interacting with firefighters and their fire engine while learning fun facts about firefighting and fire safety.
