Learn how to make a farm-to-table meal with ingredients right from the Lynchburg Community Market from Chef Candace of Hen and Hound. All attendees will take home a recipe card.
About Chef Candace:
Candace is from Portsmouth, Virginia, and has been a Lynchburg resident for 10 years. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Johnson & Wales University- North Miami where she majored in Food Service Management and Culinary Arts. Her experience has led her to work independently as a private chef and for companies such as Walt Disney World, Colonial Williamsburg, Compass Group, and local restaurants such as Woodruff’s Pie Shop and Isabella’s Trattoria. Candace is now the Culinary Director for Hen and Hound Management. Her locations include The Water Dog Oyster Bar and Taphouse, The Glass House, 7 Roof Top Bar, and Fratelli's in Downtown Lynchburg. Candace enjoys gardening and spending time with her husband and son in her spare time.
