Rodney's Raptors

Kids of all ages (and their families) are invited to join us as Master Falconer, "Birdman" Rodney Stotts introduces us to the exciting world of falconry with the help of one of his own birds of prey!

Rodney is a conservationist, author of Bird Brother: A Falconer’s Journey and the Healing Power of Wildlife, and one of the few Black falconers in America. Rodney’s Raptors, Inc. is based in Charlotte Court House, VA.

Did you know that Falconers can help improve the survival rate of young raptors by training them before releasing them back into the wild? We look forward to learning about this--and much more--along with you!
