Chess for Kids is back! Children ages 6 to 12 can join in from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. every Saturday this fall.

Babies ages 0-23 months  are invited to join us on Mondays at 10:30 AM for Babygarten, which promotes early literacy through fun songs, lap bounces, fingerplays, and books, followed by free play and social time.

Parents/guardians do not attend. All participants must be between the ages of 13 and 17.

Our popular Anime Club program has expanded to include additional fandoms and is now called Anime Club Plus!

Join LPL every Tuesday night for a game of chess!

All levels are welcome and boards can be borrowed from the Adult Services desk. Players meet in the Adult side of the library in front of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Room.

This month children ages 3 to 5 will be exploring electricity. Come join the fun as we power light bulbs and perform hair raising experiments.

Santa is coming to the Main Library! Children of all ages are invited for a meet and greet with this jolly icon. Be sure to bring your phone or camera to capture the moment!

While Santa is visiting the Main Library, we'll also have a special Santa craft to make! Children of any age are welcome to drop in and participate.
