Kids ages 6-8 are invited to join us for Cookies & Canvas (a children's version of a paint 'n sip)! During this program, young artists will enjoy cookies while creating a masterpiece on canvas.

The Lynchburg Fire Department will be joining us at the Library this summer! Kids can enjoy interacting with firefighters and their fire engine while learning fun facts about firefighting and fire safety.

Kids ages 5-10: Read a library book to Jack, a friendly therapy dog certified by Therapy Dogs International!

Smokey Bear, the U.S. Forest Service's beloved mascot, turns 80 this summer! Join us for a special storytime, followed by crafts and activities! We'll learn about Smokey's story as well as ways to be safe around fire.

Join us after our Smokey Bear Storytime for a Smokey craft and activities! Children of any age are welcome to drop in and participate.
