This month's Adult Drop-In Craft is Skeleton Makeovers! You can use our good friend Nicolas Ribcage (pictured) as your inspiration or dress up your new boney friend however you please.

Babies ages 0-23 months (and parents/guardians*) are invited to join us on Mondays at 10:30 AM for Baby Storytime, featuring fun songs, lap bounces, fingerplays, and books to promote early literacy.

Toddler Tales storytime is open to children ages 2 & 3, plus their caregivers and siblings.

Wednesdays are for networking!

Join us for a fire-themed storytime followed by demonstrations from the Lynchburg City Fire Department! This storytime is in celebration of Fire Prevention Week and is for children ages 2-5 and their parents/caregivers.  

Kids of all ages are invited to join us for one big, happy, not-so-spooky Halloween dance party! There will be a mix of directed dance and free movement (i.e., making up your own moves), concluding with bubbles and bubble songs!

The library is proud to present an afternoon with author Ann K. Howley in honor of LGBTQ+ History Month! Join us for a discussion on her book, The Memory of Cotton, followed by a Q&A session.

Hang out in the Teen Room every Tuesday from 2:30-4:30 and enjoy snacks, games, and more!

Parents/guardians do not attend. All attendees must be between the ages of 13 and 17. 

Calling all creators ages 6-8! Join us at the Library for fun building, art, and other creative challenges on select Mondays at 4:30 PM, September-December.

Tweens and teens ages 9-14 are welcome to attend our monthly Anime Club! Join us as we watch age-appropriate anime trailers and clips, try various Japanese snacks, create anime-themed crafts, and more!

Preschoolers ages 4-5 (and parents/guardians*) are invited to join us on Thursday afternoons at 4:30 PM for Preschool Storytime.
