In honor of National Poetry Month, our Drop-In Craft is Black-Out Poetry. Visit us at the main library and create your own poetry using pages from recycled books and markers. All supplies are provided.

Toddler Tales storytime is open to children ages 2 & 3, plus their caregivers and siblings.

Join Adult Services for the Cozy Crafters Knit and Crochet Group! 

Cozy Crafters will meet every second and fourth Wednesday from 10-11 am in the Creative Space.

Free knitting/crochet patterns will be provided.

Are you looking for employment or social services assistance? Do you need to speak to someone from the Virginia Employment Commission or Human Services in person? Has it been a while since you've had a check up?

Preschoolers ages 3-5* (and parents/guardians) are invited to join us on Thursday mornings at 10:30 AM for a storytime followed by a hands-on activity focusing on kindergarten readiness.

Hang out in the teen room every Tuesday from 2:30-4:30 pm and enjoy snacks, games, and more!

Parents/guardians do not attend. All attendees must be between the ages of 13 and 17. 

Join David as he shares his technique for painting vivid geometric abstract art using black canvas, masking tape and metallic paint.

All of the supplies will be provided.
