Join LPL for an all levels Yoga session with Olivia! Over the course of two Thursdays Olivia will lead you through your practice toward a healthier mind and body.

Thursdays 5/11 and 5/25 from 3-4 pm

Johnson Health Center's Mobile Unit will be at LPL on Wednesday May 10th from 9 am to 1 pm to provide on site medical assistance and to answer questions.

Award-winning children’s musician, author & illustrator, Sara Ernst will be providing an hour of whimsical songs–complete with audience participation--at the Main Library on May 9!

Join Adult Services for the Cozy Crafters Knit and Crochet Group! 

Cozy Crafters will meet every second and fourth Wednesday from 10-11 am in the Creative Space.

Free knitting/crochet patterns will be provided.

Are you looking for employment or social services assistance? Do you need to speak to someone from the Virginia Employment Commission or Human Services in person? Has it been a while since you've had a check up?

Hang out in the teen room every Tuesday from 2:30-4:30 pm and enjoy snacks, games, and more!

Parents/guardians do not attend. All attendees must be between the ages of 13 and 17. 

Please join LPL every Tuesday night for a game of chess.

All levels are welcome and boards can be borrowed from the Adult Services desk. Players meet in the Adult side of the library in front of the newspaper shelves.
